Big Ambitions: custom business icons
Your own logo — and a fully custom sign with no border
1. The built-in way — adding a logo
Go to BizMan → pick a business → Settings → Customize logo and press Browse files; your file browser opens. The path is:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Hovgaard Games\Big Ambitions\CustomIcons
Put your logo file in that folder.
What the file has to be
- PNG only — nothing else works at all.
- 512 × 512 recommended. Other sizes do work, since the game scales it for you.
If it does not show, or shows black
- It is missing from the list → press Refresh.
- You picked it and only get a black square below → your logo is black. Make it white and it shows properly.
Finally you have to press Save logo changes for it to apply. Step outside and look at the sign.
2. A fully custom sign, with no colored border
The built-in way puts a game-chosen colored border around the logo. If you do not want that, replace the sign images in your save folder directly.

Open the latest branch folder and you get a folder per save. With several saves, searching for the store's name is quicker.
Inside the store's folder there are three images.

Edit those three however you like and the sign has no border.
If you changed them while the game was running, restart for it to take effect.
The same trick works on AI-owned stores' signs — open the folder named after that store and replace its three images.
