Big Ambitions Inventory Calculator v1.0

Works out the boxes, cost, pallets and storage shelves you need when buying by import (purchasing manager) or wholesale, from the last 7 days sold in game.

Every cost here is an estimate at the average unit price. Prices in Big Ambitions move with the game's own system, so what you actually pay will differ.

How this is calculated

  • The input is the last 7 days sold from the game's BizMan sales statistics. Orders are usually placed once on Sunday, so the amount needed = last 7 days sold ÷ 7 × (order cycle, 7 days by default + buffer days), rounded up. With smart delivery a 7-day buffer works well.
  • Route: the default is import (a head-office purchasing manager, delivered onto warehouse pallets). For products available both ways, check "Buy wholesale" to calculate wholesale instead (delivered straight to the store). Products available one way only are marked "No wholesale" or "No import", and factory-only products are marked "Factory only" and counted in units.
  • Boxes to order = the amount needed (minus stock, if entered) ÷ the box size in the purchase data, rounded up. Cost = cheapest wholesale box price × boxes, or cheapest import unit price × units. The combined order adds up each product across stores before rounding to boxes.
  • Pallets needed = imported boxes ÷ boxes per pallet (pallet shelf capacity ÷ box size), rounded up per product (one product per pallet). Storage shelves needed = boxes ÷ boxes per shelf, rounded up per product. Days left = (store stock + warehouse stock) ÷ (last 7 days sold ÷ 7).
  • Several stores: left click a business button to add a store, right click to drop one. With "Apply one input per business" on, stores of the same business share one input and are multiplied by the store count; use "Stores excluded" for stores that do not sell a product.
  • Every cost is an estimate at the average unit price. Prices move constantly, so what you pay will differ. Shortages, backorders, competitor pricing, weekly wholesale delivery limits, order timing and vehicle trips are not calculated.
